First weekend in Tainan, Taiwan (PART 1)

Holla! After one week of adjusting, it's finally time for some touristy stuff!

P/s: lengthy post ahead! You have been warned!

Route for the day : Confucius Temple -- Shennong Street  -- Hai An Street -- Hua Yuan Night market

All buses travel from Tainan Bus Station which is in front of Tainan Train Station. There are two stops, the North Stop and the South Stop. Different buses of different company have different route so u can actually travel to anywhere from the bus station. When I was there, bus fare was NTD 18 one way. If you are going to touristy places, you can consider getting on bus 88 or 99 with one day ticket for NTD 88. So do your calculation if it's worth it! :)

*Views along the way.

It was a rainy day then. But nonetheless, all is well. :)

*Entrance of Confucius Temple
NTD 25

*Wishes from all over

*Main temple

*Roof top

P/S: The place is quite interesting with a tour guide otherwise you will most probably walk around like a headless chicken. You can join free tours at specific time so do check it out!

*The street opposite the temple

*Having Taiwan hot snack on a rainy day

*When heaven stop crying

We had lunch around the area after we got off from this stop.

*Tau Fu Fa with milk

*Queueing for the one of the best cakes!

Ming Dong Cake shop. They have 3 different types of flavour everyday.

*Pumpkin seed cake
NTD 82!

P/S: Look at the queue! We queued for about 30 minutes but it was totally worth it! The cake was so fluffy I could die~~ XD

*Green tea ice cream

P/S: Ice creams melt very fast in Taiwan at this time of the day. So prepare your cameras before your ice cream comes! :)

For the market, I will make a post of all Tainan night market I've went to. It's not exactly complete but there's no traveller that can explore every single place right?

Cheers!
