just a brief intro, I had a month stay in Taiwan from 3rd August till 1st September 2014 for my industrial training at NCKU. They say food is good in Taiwan etc but this trip made me realized that I am an anak Malaysia after all. P/s: not saying the food is bad in Taiwan, just not that awesome to my taste buds.
So here goes.

now, if you are planning to get a new sim card, you can do so at the airport. You can choose for those with wifi or those without wifi. We opt for one without wifi since our hostel provides it. Besides, you can also apply for I-TAIWAN wifi at the information counter for free. Just note that it is not exactly available everywhere but only at certain places.

We decided to catch a bus to Tainan from the airport since it it much cheaper compared to taking the TRA train or the HSR-train.
Journey took about 15 mins from airport to transit bus station, and about 4 hours to Tainan.
Reached our hostel at 10pm and was drop dead tired.
